Do arrow wraps affect arrow flight?
Quick answer: for nearly all archers, no. A vinyl wrap adds only a few grains of weight at the rear of the arrow, which has a negligible effect on spine and flight. What a wrap does change, for the better, is the surface your fletching bonds to.

How much weight does a wrap add?
A vinyl arrow wrap weighs only a few grains, depending on its length and width. To put that in context, most archers' arrows vary by more than that from one shaft to the next in the same dozen. The weight sits at the nock end, where it nudges the arrow's balance point rearwards very slightly. On paper that marginally weakens the dynamic spine, but by so little that you would struggle to measure it, let alone feel it on the range.
Will a wrap change my arrow's spine?
Not in any way that matters outside elite tuning. If you are a competitive archer chasing the last few points at 70 metres, you tune with point weight, and a few grains at the back is simply part of that same arithmetic. For everyone else — club target archers, field shooters, hunters — a wrapped arrow and a bare arrow from the same dozen group together.
Does a wrap slow the arrow down?
A few grains of extra mass costs a fraction of a foot per second, far less than the difference between a new string and a worn one. The wrap's surface is smooth and sits flush to the shaft, so it adds no meaningful drag in flight.
Are there any flight benefits?
Indirectly, yes. The gloss vinyl gives vanes and feathers a smoother, cleaner bonding surface than bare carbon, and better vane adhesion means your fletching stays put and keeps its shape — and fletching condition affects flight far more than the wrap ever will. Wraps also make arrows far easier to find in grass and easier to score in a target face, which is why so many target archers wrap every arrow they own.
When should I not wrap an arrow?
If you shoot very light shafts where every grain is accounted for in a tuned setup, test one wrapped arrow against your bare ones before committing the whole dozen. Otherwise, wrap away.
