Questions
Arrow wraps, answered.
Everything archers ask us about our wraps: sizing in millimetres and inches, pack sizes, application and removal, custom designs, dispatch and returns. If your question is not here, we are one message away.
What size arrow wrap do I need?
Our wraps come in two lengths: 100mm (4 inch) and 150mm (6 inch). Choose 100mm for short target vanes, and 150mm for standard hunting vanes or feathers. For width, Small fits shafts up to 5.5mm outer diameter, Medium up to 8mm and Large up to 9.5mm — or choose Custom and tell us your arrow shaft model and spine.
How many wraps are in a pack?
Every pack contains 13 wraps, all in your chosen design, style, length and width. Thirteen covers a full dozen arrows with one spare for practice or a mishap.
How do I apply an arrow wrap?
Strip the old fletching, clean the shaft with isopropyl alcohol, and let it dry. Align the wrap with the nock end, peel back the liner and roll the shaft slowly with even pressure. Smooth out any air, then re-fletch directly onto the wrap. Allow a few minutes for the adhesive to settle.
How do I remove an old arrow wrap?
Peel the wrap away from the shaft slowly, starting at one edge. Any adhesive residue comes off with isopropyl alcohol on a clean cloth. Let the shaft dry fully before fitting a new wrap.
What is the difference between Full Wrap, Half Wrap, Window and Bands?
Full Wrap covers the whole wrap length in the design. Half Wrap covers half the length, leaving the rest of the shaft bare. Window leaves a clear panel so the shaft shows through the middle of the design. Bands are two narrow rings of the design at each end. Not every design comes in every style — the product page shows which are available.
Which wrap length suits hunting, target and feathers?
100mm (4 inch) suits short target vanes. 150mm (6 inch) gives room for standard hunting vanes and is the better choice for feathers. Some designs, such as Traditional Bold Deer and Lumberjack, are made in 150mm only.
Will the wraps fit carbon, aluminium and wooden shafts?
Yes. Choose by your shaft's outer diameter: Small up to 5.5mm covers most micro and small-diameter carbon shafts, Medium up to 8mm covers larger carbon and most aluminium shafts, and Large up to 9.5mm covers line cutters and wooden shafts. For anything unusual, choose Custom and give us your arrow shaft model and spine.
How long do arrow wraps last?
Our wraps use a quality vinyl film designed to withstand target faces, foam and outdoor conditions. With normal use they last the life of the arrow. Pass-throughs on hard backstops can mark any wrap, but the print will not peel.
Do arrow wraps affect arrow flight or spine?
A wrap adds only a few grains of weight at the rear of the arrow, which has a negligible effect on spine and flight for nearly all archers. Precision-cut wraps also give fletching a smoother, cleaner bonding surface, which can improve vane adhesion.
